DESCRIPTION:Recovery of Ukraine: New Opportunities and Development Scenarios \nThe Ukrainian Center at Vytautas Magnus University is a unique community hub that has been providing Ukrainians with opportunities to develop their various competences and preserve their culture and identity in Lithuania as well as prepare them to be leaders in rebuilding Ukraine in post-war recovery. Since then\, the Centre has been intensively developing partnerships and a stakeholder network within Lithuania and world-wide including cooperation with MIT-Ukraine\, USA\, a Social Innovation SUCCESS project\, run together with the University of Silesia in Katowice\, Poland\, and many other initiatives. The Centre has a long-term strategic objective to play a role in Ukraine’s accession to the EU through its activities targeted at the Ukrainian community. \nThe Ukrainian Center has already made the first steps in this area: the high-level events such as the international forum “Pursuing President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Peace Formula: Joint Actions of Ukraine and Lithuania towards the Long-Lasting Peace”\, “Three Years\, Countless Futures: Protecting Freedom and Ukraine’s Children\, Third Commemoration of Russia’s War Against Ukraine” as well as “Youth Think Tank” and the Ukrainian Leaders training program have been showing the Center’s capacity to present Ukraine on the international level as well as to raise awareness among the young generation of Ukrainians about European common values using the Lithuanian case. \nThe forum aims to foster cooperation and networking among organizations\, institutions\, communities\, and leaders working with Ukrainian communities in Lithuania. The conference will contribute to the cooperation between Ukrainian and Lithuanian communities\, featuring a networking fair and discussions on exploring opportunities for the post-war recovery.
