Ukrainian Centre Welcomes EU Representatives for Study Visit and Networking Event

On 24 March, the Ukrainian Centre hosted a study visit with the participation of 25 representatives from various organisations across European Union countries. The visit took place within the framework of the third mutual learning event titled “Driving Innovation to Address the Societal Consequences of Russia’s War of Aggression Against Ukraine in EU Countries,” organised by the European Social Fund Agency (ESFA).

At the Ukrainian Centre, the guests were warmly welcomed by the children’s choir “Mriya,” creating a special atmosphere of sincerity and inspiration from the very first moments of the visit.

Participants also explored the photo exhibition “Lost Childhood,” which presents the stories of children returned to Ukraine after being abducted or forcibly held by Russia. The exhibition was created as part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and aims to raise awareness of the deportation of Ukrainian children and the importance of their return and reintegration.

During the visit, the guests were introduced to the activities of the Ukrainian Centre through a presentation covering its key areas of work, main achievements, and impact on the local community. Participants learned more about implemented projects, initiatives supporting Ukrainians, and the development of partnerships.

The visit concluded with a networking event that brought together representatives of Ukrainian organisations, initiatives, foundations, and businesses from different regions of Lithuania. In an informal setting, participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences, establish new connections, and discuss possibilities for further cooperation.
