Report on the Working Meeting of the SUCCESS Project Team

On December 19, 2025, within the framework of the implementation of the SUCCESS project, a working meeting of the project team took place. The meeting was dedicated to reviewing the current state of project implementation in 2025, discussing planned activities, and exchanging experience among participants.

During the first session, a comprehensive overview of the project’s implementation over the current year was presented. Vilma Bijeikienė, SUCCESS project leader at VMU, Dovilė Blaudžiūnienė, SUCCESS project coordinator at VMU, and Yuliana Palagnyuk, SUCCESS project coordinator at US, reviewed and discussed the outcomes of the conducted visits, which became an important element in coordinating partner activities, strengthening inter-organizational cooperation, and sharing practical experience.

Special attention was paid to the first reporting period. Dovilė Blaudžiūnienė and Laura Lapinskė, SUCCESS project expert at VMU, presented the main results, achievements, and challenges encountered by the team during the report preparation process. Working aspects related to data collection and analysis, indicators, and inter-partner communication were also discussed.

Within the meeting, Yevheniia Bessmertna, SUCCESS project coordinator at VMU, and Kateryna Horiunova, SUCCESS project expert at VMU, presented the experience of organizing the first Youth Think Tank meeting in Kaunas within the framework of the project. Yevheniia Bessmertna also provided consultations to Polish partners regarding the planning of future Youth Think Tank meetings in Poland, including the engagement of experts and participants. Together with Yuliiana Palagnyuk, approaches to data collection and alignment for the preparation of programme reporting materials were also discussed.

A separate agenda item was dedicated to the language courses component, presented by Terese Ringailienė, SUCCESS project expert at VMU, and Yuliiana Palagnyuk. The current state of implementation of language activities, the level of beneficiary engagement, as well as initial results and plans for the further development of this project component were presented.

The second part of the meeting focused on discussing the next steps within the SUCCESS project. In particular, the team reviewed preparations for the conference dedicated to the anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia, coordinated by Vilma Bijeikienė and Erika Vaiginienė, Director of the VMU Ukrainian Center. Participants discussed the goals of the event, its key target audience, expected outcomes, and the role of each partner in the preparation and implementation of the event.

In addition, Deimantė Pocienė, SUCCESS project expert at VMU, presented plans for the launch of regional training programmes for Ukrainian leaders titled “Community Accelerator.” Participants discussed the concept of the Accelerator, its target audience, working format, and the expected impact of the programme on community development and capacity strengthening.

The meeting concluded with an open discussion format, during which all participants had the opportunity to share their observations, achievements, positive experiences, as well as challenges encountered in the course of project implementation.

This format fostered open dialogue, enhanced mutual understanding within the team, and helped outline potential ways to address existing challenges. The team reaffirmed the importance of regular meetings as an effective tool for coordination, mutual support, and strategic planning within the SUCCESS project.
